HIGH SAFETY CABLES FOR EXTREME INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

SILIFLAM® THS cables are safety cables for extreme industrial applications made of high-performance materials:
  • Conductive metalsnickel-plated copper, pure nickel, copper-nickel alloys, refractory metals, etc.
  • Insulating materialsmica, mineral and ceramic fibres, special glass, quartz, borosilicoaluminate, polyimide, polytetrafluoroethylene, special organic polymers, siloxane-based synthetic resins and elastomers, etc.

Cables SILIFLAM® THS are totally asbestos-free. They are available in standard versions or our team of engineers and technicians can design variants specifically for high-risk industries and all applications that are continuously or temporarily subjected to very high temperatures.

SILIFLAM® THS products can withstand conditions and temperatures that no other standard cable on the market can withstand:

are designed, in particular, to supply industrial plants and keep them running under the harshest operating conditions.
They can also be used in areas where environmental conditions are subject to exceptional or accidental variations and may reach abnormal levels.

Serving temperature and other parameters

The following values are indicative and must be tested in real applications:

  1. SILIFLAM® THS 1000: +400 °C to +800 °C
  2. SILIFLAM® THS 1200: +500 °C to +1000 °C
  3. SILIFLAM® THS 1400: +700 °C to +1200 °C
  4. SILIFLAM® THS 1500: +900 °C to +1400 °C

The parameters may vary depending on the installation and a number of factors, for example:

  • type of heat source;
  • proximity to the heat source;
  • length of cable exposed to the heat source;
  • frequency and duration of exposure;
  • conditions of the installation;
  • conditions of the surrounding environment;
  • mechanical condition;
  • electrical conditions.
