1- Conductor: tinned copper conforming to ASTM-B33, B8 and UL44 standards

2- Insulation: XLPE cross-linked polyethylene conforming to Underwrites Laboratories Standard No. 44, UL Standard 1581, Table 50.231 and CSA requirements for RW-90 cables

3- Possible polypropylene separator tape on the conductor.

The following information can be imprinted on the external insulation:
“ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP CABLE ......AWG TYPE RHH OF RHW-2
600V. (UL) E18321 - U. 8825 CSA RW90 XLPE FT2 MINUS 40C”

  • This conductor type meets the requirements for cross-linked polyethylene-insulated copper conductors and complies with UL Directive No. 44 for types RHH or RHW-2 as well as CSA for types RW-90.

Use

  • These cables are suitable for submerged pump wiring where repetitive handling caused by frequent maintenance is not expected.
  • Can be used at temperatures up to 90°C in humid environments, with voltages up to 600V
