U-1000 RVFV RH

Reinforced cable with special RH + UV PVC insulation - Recommended for ATEX zones.

Continuous service temperature: -25°C to +60°C

Cable composition:

• Red copper conductor - class 1 or 2 according to IEC 60228 and according to sections
• Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
• Inner sheath: thermoplastic
• Reinforcement: two helical steel sheets (0.2 mm thick) overlapping
• Outer sheath: special black PVC in RH + UV quality

  • 3500 AC for 5 minutes
  • 8400 DC for 5 minutes

• Identification of conductors: colours according to HD 308 S2

Installation

• Without additional mechanical protection, in free air, these cables can be installed in a fixed position on walls or cable trays or other supports.
• For direct laying underground without protection.
• In hazardous areas BE3 must be installed with appropriate electrical protection. In this case, the permissible intensities of 15% must be reduced (see recommendations according to installation standard NF C 15-100 art. 424-8-BE3).

• NF C 32-322 / XP C 32-322 (sheathing resistant to extreme climatic conditions and UV radiation): rigid cables insulated with cross-linked polyethylene with PVC sheathing, armoured - series U-1000 RVFV.
• Not flame propagating: IEC 60332-1 / NF C 32-070 2.1 category C2.
• Climate resistance testing, including UV.
• RoHS: European Directive 2011/65/EU.
• Construction Products Regulation 305/2011.
• Euroclass according to RPC: Eca.
• Conductor according to IEC 60228:
  • cross-section 1.5mm² to 4mm²: class 1
  • 6mm² to 185mm²: class 2

• For industrial installations requiring reinforced protection.
• Recommended in ATEX zones.
• Outer sheath made of special RH-quality PVC, suitable for aliphatic hydrocarbons. If aromatic hydrocarbons are present, special sheathing type PF or TF (ETFE) must be used.
• Electrically powered property portals.
